Aldrin has been a musician all his life. He started at the age of five and played music by ear on his keyboards as he grew up. He began writing original music at the age of 7 and wrote his first song a ballad called For you. he then continued to write and record some 50 songs between the age of 7 and 16. At the age of 16 he started a band with his friends and recorded some new songs under the name SykoJo. All the while he also had a love for techno music and DJing.  Aldrin has been spinning his DJ madness on to cassette tapes and CD’s since 1997. He found his way into the Kansas City Electronic Music scene at a little place that all the veterans may remember called GEE COFFEE back in 2000. It was at his 3rd party ever attended called Counterbalance that he met his destiny with his introduction to DJ Dieselboy. The American Drum and Bass master  spun his perfection as Aldrin watched from the front row and was captivated by the tracks Dieselboy spun. Suddenly there was a spark in Aldrin’s mind to do something he had never done before. He had played all styles of music before this night but he now knew that he had finally found his calling. Drum and Bass has been strongly with him ever since that night. Aldrin was no stranger to Techno though; he became addicted to the sound of all forms of Techno at the early age of 12 with the purchase of his first CD which was Mortal Kombat-The Album produced by The Immortals who actually is Praga Khan from Lords of Acid. Aldrin has been a musician all his life, first playing keyboard at the early age of 5. He could also play by ear and pick songs off the radio to play for his friends. In school he was playing anything he could get his hands on from trumpet to cello, from saxophone to drums. He started a couple of different bands in High School but nothing ever fit quite like Drum and Bass. His deepest influences were the techno groups he listened to growing up such as The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, KMFDM, Orbital, The Dust Brothers, Lords of Acid and Daft Punk. Once Aldrin Started growing in the local scene he figured out that not all Drum and Bass followed the same style format and so he figured out the different styles of D&B. From there he gained a personal connection with the style he now spins and Produces. Aldrin also learned a lot of influences from pro DJ's in every style such as, Richard Humpty Vission, Bad Boy Bill, Dieselboy, Dara, Pleasurehead, Joey Beltram, and Christopher Lawrence. But he also has to give credit to the Veteran Locals he learned a lot from even if they did not know how they helped him to come to where he is today such as, DJ.Com, DJ Nitro, DJ Booth, DJ True, and Edwin. During this whole time He was just bangin' away at the keys on his keyboard getting better and better and more into everything that is the music business and producing. When he was working at Waffle House in 1998 that's where Midevil Records was born. Aldrin got to meet Violent J the lead Singer and mastermind behind the group ICP. They came in one night while on a promotional tour. Aldrin cooked Food for ICP and Twiztid and J told Him everything he needed to know to get his record company started. So now today He’s been involved in all aspects of production for the last 6 Years and He keeps getting deeper and deeper into the scene. Now Aldrin goes to do lighting Shows at a lot of the parties. He’s been the intrical piece in producing some of the coolest lighting shows in KC over the last 5 years. If he’s not working the show, Performing, or taking video clips and pictures for the Midevil Records website, he can be found Spinning Glow sticks and dancing all the while promoting and promoting and getting more people to join in the cause. “We are going to be the biggest, baddest company in the mid-west and then the world for Production, DJ's and original Songs and Videos” Aldrin says. “Starting today you can come along with us. We want everyone to join us and help make it a huge family group. No Drama, no Competition. So please Don't use Drugs and Abuse Alchohol. They make Friends Disappear. All you need is God and the music”. All WE need is Each other, Peacfullness, Love, Unity and Respect. - PLUR - Only Luv - One Luv.
